Short Summary:
| It was February 10, 1998, and a friend... with his friend... saw this oval, silvery disc with a pointed dome in the sky, gliding majestically at an angle of approximately 45° across the cloudless, blue sky from east to west. Sighting duration: about 2 minutes. Video: about 30 seconds. The next day, the three of us sat outside and waited for the UFO (at the time, we had no idea about UFO sightings, so we tried to identify a pattern). And indeed, at about the same time, on February 11, 1998, this silvery disc flew across the sky again, but further north than the day before, yet again from east to west. This time, we had the video camera with us. However, it was difficult to keep the object constantly in view due to the greater distance. We sent the video with a few explanations to MUFON, which analyzed the video and subsequently sent us a letter stating that the UFO video received a classification of 99.99%, meaning that known terrestrial phenomena can be almost entirely ruled out. Dipl. Phys. Illobrand von Ludwiger (MUFON-CES Director) investigated the matter and also brought up the incident at a UFO conference in Magdeburg. Our UFO case can also be found in the Filer's Files. |
